Non-Exclusive Publication Agreement

Congratulations on your manuscript approval! Please complete this form to sign a non-exclusive publication agreement with Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore. This agreement outlines royalties, rights, and responsibilities for publishing your work.

Agreement Terms

1. Royalties

The Author shall receive 60% of net sales revenue for eBooks and academic articles. Royalties are paid quarterly via electronic transfer. Pricing is set in collaboration with Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore, with recommended ranges of $5-$50 for articles and $10-$100 for eBooks.

2. Non-Exclusive Rights

The Author grants Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, distribute, and promote the Work in digital formats (eBooks and academic articles). The Author retains all copyrights and may publish the Work elsewhere, provided no exclusive agreements with other publishers conflict with this license.

3. Author Responsibilities

The Author warrants that the Work is original, does not infringe on any third-party rights, and is free from plagiarism. The Author is responsible for obtaining permissions for any third-party content (e.g., images, quotes) included in the Work. The Work must comply with accessibility standards (e.g., ADA for digital formats) and be free of discriminatory or harmful content. The Author agrees to cooperate with Dei Institute’s editorial process, including formatting and revisions as needed.

4. DIOU Responsibilities

Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore will handle publication, distribution, and promotion of the Work in digital formats, including listing it in the Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore and potentially integrating it with relevant courses. Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore reserves the right to set final pricing and may decline to publish if the Work does not meet quality or ethical standards after review.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, Dei Institute - Online University (DIOU) Bookstore will cease distribution of the Work, and any outstanding royalties will be paid within 60 days.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be addressed via mediation.
